Christian has been involved in clinical and private practice in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for over 15 years. She received her Master Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. She is currently completing a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas.
Her other degrees include a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science from Rockhurst University, Kansas City, Missouri
Christian subscribes to the Attachment Theory, which is the foundation of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. She also subscribes to Differentiation-of-Self Theory, which is the core concept of Family Systems Therapy. These techniques allow the client to learn and respect boundaries; not only their own but those of others as well.
Christian is a member of American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, Texas Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, Christian Counselors of Texas, American Association of Christian Counselors, Christian Association of Psychological Studies, North Texas Mental Health Professionals, Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health and is a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist.
