Christian received her Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University in Ft. Worth, Texas.  She has been involved in clinical and private practice in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for over 15 years.  Christian specializes in Sexual Addiction Recovery for addicts and partner trauma.  She also counsels families during the recovery process.

Her other degrees include a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science from Rockhurst University, Kansas City, Missouri

Christian uses the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals model to treat sexual addiction and The Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists model for partners and family.  She also subscribes to Differentiation-of-Self Theory, which is the core concept of Family Systems Therapy.  These techniques allow the client to learn and respect boundaries; not only their own, but those of others as well.   

Christian is a member of American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, Texas Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, Christian Counselors of Texas, American Association of Christian Counselors, Christian Association of Psychological Studies, North Texas Mental Health Professionals, Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health and is a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist and a Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist.  She has been certified as a CSAT and CMAT for over 10 years.
